AD locations in style templates
Hi folks,
I tinkered around in the templates today and spotted the ad locations in my default vb4 style. I added some junk content to see where an ad would physically appear if I used the templates supplied. However, I've looked in the CMS and the forum - but can't find my junk content. Can someone advise me what I'm doing wrong? ad_thread_last_post_content: Doesn't show my content. ad_thread_first_post_content: Also doesn't show my content. ad_showthread_firstpost_sig: Shows my content - on every post's signature area (as oppose just the 1st, like I understood it would). |

There is nothing wrong that you are doing. A lot of the ad locations are missing in the recent vB4 versions and there have been a lot of complaints and bug reports about this.
As you can see here 18 of the 29 ad locations are confirmed to be missing and non functional. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/proje...?issueid=37193 These will probably be rectified in later vB4 versions and until then you manually place the ad code wherever you want the templates. |
