How to disable links+signatures for new users
 

Good morning,

My forum is only a few weeks old, I was very suprised to see that almost every day people are registering to it, I didn't even start working on publishing it yet.
Later I realized that lots of them are just registering to add a signature with a link (to get a link from their profile).

Where in the admincp can I prevent them from having signatures before lets say they have 5/10 posts?
Same question about having links in the first few posts?

Create a new group to promote users to after they have 5 posts and allow them to have signatures in that usergroup - Usergroup Promotions

Thanks, I'm doing it right now. Where can I set it up so that they will only be able to use signatures after 5 posts? I'm in "add new usergroup" right now but I don't see anything that has to do with the number of posts..

Use the Promotion System-Add New Promotion and where it says: Posts enter the number of posts that you want this group to be based off.

Alternatively, you can use my mod for the signatures. It allows you to allow only users with a certain post number to have signatures without creating extra groups.
