Advert after first post

Hi,

Using Advertisement System V2.6 Aka Ad Management on my vBulletin 3.8 forum, I was able to display an advert after the first post in a thread, like so;

I'm just about to upgrade to vBulletin 4 and from searching, seem unable to find a modification that will allow me to replicate what I had? The default vBulletin ad system doesn't seem to allow what I'm after, but rather offers a chunky square block aligned to the right of each post.

Could any of you good folk inform me of a way to manage this? It would be greatly appreciated!

I beleive the successor to that mod is the Rotating Banner System (?), but so far nobody's been able to figure out how to do this in vb4. Well, not without manual template editing (yuck!). This could very likely change in an updated version of vb (it's certainly requested enough!).

Thanks for the reply. Appreciated.

I must say, I'm surprised someone hasn't created it. I'd imagine it would be sought after.

I don't suppose anyone can suggest a quick manual template edit to include a small after after the first post in every thread?

Could anyone possibly help me with this one?

What was the question? I already told you how to put an ad after the first post.

The question was how to display an image/graphic/advert after the first post of every thread.

The Rotating Banner System mod is overkill for what I needed. I did solve the issue by editing 'ad_showthread_firstpost' - however, since upgrading from 4.0.3 to 4.0.6, this doesn't appear to display anymore. Hence the bump.

Oh. I hadn't noticed it wasn't working any longer. You might try asking over in that thread anyway, since there are a few there that used it. But I wonder if it should be reported as a bug.
