How to close the forum but open for administrator
 
Hello,

I want to close forum to not let guests or members watch it.

but I want let it open for administrator.

Please help , thanks.:)

Do you mean to close it for Maintenance? If so Settings-Options-Turn Your vBulletin On and Off. And set Forum Active to No.

Yes, the board will remain open for the admin.

but the admins I keep them in group called moderators not admins. so they also will see it ?

By default only the admins can see the board when closed for maintenance. If you want to allow additional groups to see it as well, then you will need a custom mod as there is no default feature for that.

Check the files where that part is defined and take it from there. (php knowledge is required). But if you don''t know how to do that, then request it at the forums and hopefully someone will create it for you.
