Extra Signature Settings (Deafult signature + 3 other extra options)

1 Attachment(s)
This mod will expand further the Signature Settings with 4 extra options.

1) It will allow you to add a minimum number of posts for your users to create signatures. You can aslo choose which usergroups and/or individual users can bypass this limit.

2) It will allow you to prevent/ban individual users from using signatures at your forum.

3) It will allow you to exlude signatures from being shown in certain forums of your choosing. That is for normal users because the staff signatures will still be shown if you want.

4) It will allow you to set up a default signature which will be displayed in all the posts for all those members that don''t have a signature of their own, from the moment that it is set and onwards. The past posts won''t be affected by it. When they will create a signature of their own it will overwride the default signature from that moment and onwards.

All the settings can be enabled and disabled separately. For more info, please have a look at the attached screenshots below.

Installation:

To install the mod, upload the includes folder to your forum root folder and then import the expanded_sigs.xml file inside the mod package to Plugins&Products in the acp of your forum. Then go to the mod setting option: Extra Signature Options. It can be found on the left side of the Admin Panel, right above the RSS Feeds.

I have been looking for it since decades... would that be possible if you do something similar for avatars too ?

Atm I don''t have much free time. But try to request it at the forums and hopefully someone will create it for you. It is fairly easy to do it.

Is it possible to have this displayed for 1 usergroup only ? along side their own sig ?

so you have a default sig and the users own sig

i tried to disable the signatures for two forums so i activated that option then i added the forums numbers and left the last field empty once and added only my usergroup as admin to it
and nothing happened. singatures are still displayed

how comes?
is there something i'm missing?

So you mean to have 2 signatures? I will look into it when I will have some free time.

That doesn''t affect the signatures that were before from the mod was installed. But it affects the signature only from the time that the mod is installed and onwards. Same like Vb does.

P.s. Can you post a screenshot of the mod setting for that part please?
