How to remove "Database Backup" option from the AdminCP

You cant unless you start editing files.

if i,m right there is no need to remove it cause you can set the permissions who can use it.

Could you please help me with this? What file do I need to edit and what code should I remove?

look in http://mysite.com/admincp/backup.php I guess if you delete it, there should be no more link or functionality to it. In which case you'll have to use something like mysqldumper for backups

First choice - set admin permission on who can't run the backup script

Second choice - edit the .xml file within forum/includes/xml/ which builds the admincp menu

Last choice - don't delete the backup.php file, instead, just rename it something like backup.php.disabled
