How to remove "Database Backup" option from the AdminCP
Hello,
If you want to know the reasons, please check this thread: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...t-from-AdminCP How I can delete that option from the ACP? Thank you, Jonathan |
You cant unless you start editing files.
|
if i,m right there is no need to remove it cause you can set the permissions who can use it.

Thanks. |
look in http://mysite.com/admincp/backup.php I guess if you delete it, there should be no more link or functionality to it. In which case you'll have to use something like mysqldumper for backups
|
First choice - set admin permission on who can't run the backup script
Second choice - edit the .xml file within forum/includes/xml/ which builds the admincp menu Last choice - don't delete the backup.php file, instead, just rename it something like backup.php.disabled |
