How would I set up a sub-forum filter?
 

Hey VB.org...I need some help.

I have a (possibly) unique issue; I would like to set up some sort of filter system by using tags, I am not sure if its possible, but thought you would be the ones to ask...

So I have a 4 subforums which each cover a region, in each region their are 15 or so venues that are meant to post in the forum. I don't necessarily want to give each venue its own subforum, so I decided that I want that each thread should be tagged with the venue name. Follow me so far?

It does half of the work, but what I need to do now is to put these tags on the main forum home page, preferably as a sub-forum/link in each of the original 4 subforums. So when someone clicks on the main subforum it shows all venues, but if someone clicks on the sub-forum tag/subforum link they filter only that venue. Still with me?

I've searched and looked all over this site, its quite possible I have missed it, but how do I do this!
