Setting permissions for who can see certain published articles on CMS
I would like to make it so that when articles are published to the CMS front page, that only people with permission can see certain articles, but some articles are visible to everyone.
As it stands now, I can restrict who can actually see the CMS, but can not seem to be able to edit the permissions for individual articles published. I would like some content posted on the front page to be viewable to members of the forum, and some content posted to be visible to everyone, members and non members and unregistered people as well. I can not seem to figure this out in the CMS settings, however. When I change permissions for the front page, it shuts off the ability to actually see the CMS page, which is not what I want. Just restricting certain published threads, that is all. Any help is appreciated! |
