Mod to allow other users (of posters choice) to edit thread
 

Is there any mod (I can't find one) that anyone knows of, that will allow the original poster of a thread to give other users edit access to posts in that thread? Or at least to a specific post?

IE: Poster clicks on thread tools, maybe have a box where he can enter usernames of others that can have edit privs. with that post/thread.

I'd love this, too! The only solution I came up with was to create a new user group with editing privileges, but this really isn't the solution I had in mind.

It would require a new db value for msgs, maybe at the bottom below the Manage Attachments box, have a txt box where the poster can enter usernames, then have the code make those users also owners of the thread. Pretty simple actually, although I'm not a programmer so what do I know :)
