Help..I think I've been hacked
I can't get into the CMS pages. http://officialbabyshowerguide.com/ I have several mods installed but the site was fine and I left it alone until 1 day it was broke. :(
I checked things out and it looks as though someone deleted 2 of my articles, 1 from the front page of the site and then another. I have re-uploaded all the files and there aren't any strange files in suspect file versions. I have tried just to rewrite the articles but it won't let me. I disabled plugins but nothing changed. Any ideas? |

I see that you are running Version 4.0.1. It would be best to upgrade to the latest version which has fixed a couple of security issues since 4.0.1.

I appreciate the tips but neither of these solves my problem. Does anyone know why I can't post a new article?

And if you download the CMS / Board / Blog again from the trusted source, then downloading via FTP your files comparing them ?
Just to make sure none of them have been modified in any unwanted way. Next step is making a backup of the database with an external tool - Cpanel, phpMyAdmin and so on. If any of these tools isn't installed - just install them temporary for making the backup removing them once finished. Then check the DB if there's something wrong - Templates as example, Tables etc. |

P.s. Upgrade your forum and see if it would fix the issue. |
