3.8.5 "edit config"
 
I was just wondering what this meant..?

I realize this is meant for 3.5, but i was wondering when you upgrade do you really need to overwrite ALL of the files..?
Is there a list somewhere of the files that need to be overwritten, seems like such a hassle to skip a bunch of images, & other files that never needed to be over written anyway.?

Also i never edit/upload the config file.. because it seems like a waste, which is why that "3.5 editconfig" instruction got me thinking..

Do i need to edit/upload the config file each time i upgrade.?

you only need to edit the config file upon install, never upon upgrade.

It was needed when upgrading to 3.5 as the 3.0 config.php had a different format.
