Moderation of Post/Thread Not Working

I have a forum, where when new members join ... they are put into the Junior Member user group.

To prevent spam, I made it where all post/threads had to go to Moderation, before being shown on the forum.

It was working fine for several weeks.

I must have screwed up somewhere, because now the post are showing up on the forum. However, they are showing up differently than other threads. On the new thread, it says moderated and even shows a envelope with a !.

My best fix, would be to get it back to how it was.

When I go to admin > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > junior member > edit ... it still shows that "no" is clicked on the Follow Forum Moderation Rules section.

Any suggestions?

Alternative Fix Option

I could always create a new user group ... do moderation and put all the new registrations into there. However, I'm not sure how to make it where all new members would automatically go into that new user group.

Making any sense?

I'm not high tech, so be descriptive in any answers.

Thanks

Did you make any modifications to your forum prior to getting the issue? If you did, try to undo it and see if it will fix the problem.

About the second method, it will require a mod for that. So all the new users are put automatically at a custom usergroup of your choosing. It shouldn''t be hard to do it.

I did create a new user group and after that, it went bad. I will try to undo.

2nd method - it may require a mod, but not sure how to do that mod :)

Let me know how it will go.

Try to request the mod and hopefully someone will create it for you.
