MySQL 5 and vBulletin 3.73
I am still running version 3.73 (because it works just fine) but my server guy says I should update mySql to version 5.
Are the two compatible? |
I don't think they are. You really should upgrade to at least 3.8.0 (3.8.5 recommended) for protection against flaws in the 3.7 series.
|
I would be curious to know this for sure also.
|
If you want to know for sure then you should ask this on vBulletin.com.
|
If I should upgrade to 3.8.5 why does this forum run version 3.6.12?
I'm running a newer version than this one. Shouldn't this site be updated also? |
See the vBulletin.org FAQ thread in the site feedback board. It's answered there.

Never mind, if it's too much trouble for you to answer or offer a link....then never mind.
Support......is supposed to be support. Not a search mission for the customer. |
