Integrating vBulletin4 user system
 

Hi, I'm about to start the development of a site, which has a vbulletin forum, and I need the user system of the site integrated with the vb's one.

The problem is that the application is pretty big, and I don't wanna use the same database (for portability and scalability issues). I've been googling for a while and found information about a hook system in vb4. Can I duplicate all the user and profile information with it (I mean, run a hook after creating, editing and deleting both users and profiles). Where can I found the official documentation for that?

And where can I found some documentation or information about how vbulletin manages login/logout, sessions and remember-me cookies?
