Need Help

Hey all
Not sure if I'm asking this right but I'll give it a shot. we purchase the latest 4.0.2 and find it incredible.
creating a new forum. Is there a way to have a cover page or first page where information about the topic can be displayed before proceeding into the forum it self on a separate page?
