Scrippets - Screenplay Formatting for vBulletin
 

Scrippets

Scrippets is a text format designed by screenwriter John August to allow writers to input part of a screenplay in easy-to-write plain text and have it converted to properly styled HTML.

This mod will convert any Scrippets BB Code blocks into formatted HTML, and will automatically append John August's Scrippets CSS code to the board's HTML header.

What's New In This Version

This is an update of the Scrippets plugin for vBulletin 3 (see https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=191734). This version is tested and functioning up to vBulletin 4.0.2

Installation

1. Install the attached product XML via the Product Manager.
2. Use.

Usage

Scrippets raw are entered as such:

MARY yells across the hall to FRANK.

MARY
Anything you want to tell me?

FRANK (O.S.)
I swear, honey, I don't know how mayonnaise got in the piano.

CUT TO:

FRANK

running out of the bathroom.

Please note that proper line spacing is needed for the parser to function correctly.

Can you provide a button image please? I don't know what to use.

That's alright. Anyways, how can I add the button for this code? The thing is this adds a BBcode via XML upload and not by adding it to the custom BBcodes via ACP. :S

Edit: I guess in the XML file but I can't find where.

The designer of this mod has not created a button call from their XML
