Forum Search Tool

So, on my site I have a forum search tool to be used to search within in the forum. And it appears and works fine for me and some of my other users. But for many of my users it does not even appear for them.

Does anyone have any ideas of things i can try to get this working for everyone?

The site is www.monocleonthemouse.com and you can see the search tool on the right in red.
