VBulletin 4 Resource/Authentication page

I'm creating a PHP page and would like to use VBulletin to logon, but without using VBulletin templates. Basically, I just want to pull out userid and some info of a user. Print no permission if it's not in the right usergroup or direct them to login. Is it feasible?

If anyone know how to direct to a login page using PHP I would appreciate it.
