How to increase the number of words in the CMS Frontpage?

Quite a n00b question, but I wanted to know how to increase the number of words/characters in the frontpage articles of the CMS.

Basically the fscreenshot (2.jpg) will show exactly what I want. The current number of words coming from each article in the Frontpage is quite less and not content rich, anyway to increase the amount?

Lastly, the file (1.jpg) displays that I want to change the welcome message in the forum index. It says WheelsBD.com - Welcome to WheelsBD.com, I want to remove this text completely as it looks disproportionate and out of place.

Haha, yeah this question has been answered many times.

Here is the short version: Go to the specific article's "Edit Article" page. This is the page where you set write text, assign which section, whether to publish or not, etc.

In the toolbox on the left, where you have your formatting options, insert hyperlinks, youtube, etc...you will see a box underneath the "Insert Picture" button with a RED line. This is the "Insert Preview Break" button. Make sure your cursor (in the text of the article) is where you want, and use this button to place the "preview break" where you want it to be.

A big red line will show up in your article's edit text box. This will indicate how much of the article then will show up in the frontpage. Everything above the red line will be included in the preview.

BTW, youtubes are working weird right now with the frontpage, only one youtube can be shown, and you have to play youtubes AFTER the red line, otherwise it will show up twice. Just wanted to give you a headsup, they are working on fixing this for the next version.
