vbulletin search engine problem with UTF-8

Hi all ;

I've an iranian forum it used latin1 collocation and I convert it to UTF-8 . but vbulletin search doesn't work ( either it doesn't work before converting to UTF8 ) . when I use english word , it works but for persian words it doesn't work .

would you please help ?

see when I use vB search it's ok but I couldn't use Fulltext my sql search . how big this effect my forum's resources ?

You can install ajax live search works better that default search engine

Im helping a freind with some UTF-8 issues and italian letter "?".

The response from VBulletin.com is
