two navbars after editing navbar then header
1 Attachment(s)
Hi, i was trying to put some game server code in to my navbar so it would show the status of a gaming server within the navbar.
When i realised it would be too wide for the navbar i deleted the code and put it in the header template underneath my adsense code. I clicked save and reload and checked my site to see i had two navbars with google search boxes underneath both of them. So i went back to the code to delete the game server code but it wasn't there. Removing any of the adsense code completely rearranges my template. Any ideas what i have done wrong? I've uploaded both files and appreciate any time given looking at them. |
Replace your navbar template with this
HTML Code:
<br /> |
Hi Chopsuey
It's half worked: http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/5953/navbarm.jpg that --> is new. Appreciate any further help you can offer. |
Try removing all contents of your navbar template

Huh, bizarrely that worked. hows that then? Actually don't tell me, leave it like a magic trick, its always best to not know lol unless you think i should know :)
Thanks alot, much appreciated. |
Its because i downloaded your header.txt file and you had nearly the same contents, so removing all the contents of the navbar would work.

Ah, so maybe i cut and pasted the code by accident in the header template without realising. Thanks again.
--------------- Added [DATE]1267898565[/DATE] at [TIME]1267898565[/TIME] --------------- Hmm my breadcrumb forum path is now missing (as in the tree at the top of the forum) so there's no way to go back through the forums other than clicking the folder in the navbar for the forum index. I readded what you said to delete to see if it came back and it didn't (hoping i could hand pick the breadcrumb code out of it and only have that left) so have removed it again. I'll keep doing the trial&error method to fix it but if you know how i can get it back that would be great. |
HTML Code:
<!-- breadcrumb, login, pm info |
Nothing still just shows the index tree folder :(

A Screenshot would be better than words.
