How to automake many boards?

I'd like to go the gamespot route & create one board per game, is there any script I can use to automate this process and if there is how would I go about doing it? (this would create over 10,000 boards)

10,000 forums on one board?

Tat is a little excessive to me for one site.

On most servers 1.500-2.000 forums is about the maximum it can handle.

all you have to do is be a little crafty with the cron jobs and amount of ram, cpu & servers to handle more than that. Also you two, try to get back on topic as my post wasn't about how excessive it would be or how much would be the maximum for a server to handle.

If you believe that you can run more then the number mentioned on your server, then go ahead. Why listen to someone with many years of experience in supporting vBulletin forums.

PS I do hope that you realize that if you want to create mulitple boards, you will need multiple licenses.

I'm not talking about installing multiple instance of vbulletin. Each board in a category is assigned a number and this is what the topic has been about this whole time.

I know that is what you are saying, but if you are using these categories to make many virtual boards (sites) then this is considered multiple installations.

See the following in the License Agreement:
Quote:

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, vBulletin Solutions grants to you a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to install, download and use a single instance of the Software on a single website server ("License") through a single installation. Each License may run one instance of the Software on one domain. Any modification of the Software intended to circumvent the foregoing is prohibited and will result in revocation of the License.

What dont you understand about what I'm trying to do?

What I want to do is make BOARDS that go in categories and since you seem to have a hard time understanding that, here's a picture to help clarify that for you. Do you understand what I am saying to you now? There are no "multiple license" to make these boards.

What's circled in red marco is what I refer to as boards.

Also if I wanted to make

many virtual boards (sites)
Then I would have clarified that in my very first post which I did not. There is no mention of wanting to install on subdirectories or even multiple licenses on my part. Only on your part is this mentioned and thats not what I'm wanting to do.

Probably we don't understand eachother good then.

For clarification:

A "board" is the entire vBulletin site with all it's forums and sub-forums. So your question is actually how can i make many (sub) forums.

In this case my earlier warnings still apply.

heh maybe I wont add those after all. Today there's been a MASSIVE spike in traffic, 1141 unique visits and normally we get about 60 uniques a day!! Nearly 200 new members have joined adding over 120 new posts today alone!! This is insane! Have any tips?!
