Different Widgets on Different CMS Pages

So here's what I need help with: Is it possible to have widgets on the front page of the CMS and then different widgets on CMS article pages? If so, how do I do it?

You apply layouts (which contain widgets) to sections, so you may have different layouts in different sections. Currently there is not the ability to apply different layouts to different articles.
