Stop people stealing images ?
 

Hi all,

I am noticing people trying to steal my images and i have nothing in place to stop them as of yet, what can i do to stop people looking in my styles image directories ?

I have free & premium styles, so you can understand i don't wish to spend 1+ week per styles and have people come by and steal my work, so i was hoping someone here could put me in the right direction as to how i can go about blocking my image / css files without it causing any issues on my site as i need to offer a demo for each style.

Stealing is a con when it comes to live demos but what can we do about it ?!

What I did to stop people from stealing my styles pictures and/or codes is to make a flash demo for each style highlighting it's main features,..,..,..etc .!

You cant stop people "stealing" the images if they are available on the site.

you can't prevent people from stealing them from your site (downloading them and reposting them), but you can prevent them from Hotlinking & stealing your bandwidth by changing your htaccess file, or by changing settings in your server's cpanel.
