I cann't decide : Dofollow or nofollow related threads

it is well know it is better to show related threads for any thread on forums for visitors and for keywords for SEO
but it dilutes the Page rank
I think for page rank or for faster short term high rankings it is better to nofollow related threads
for long term it is better to dofollow them

any ideas?
