Default avatar for banned members in postbit.
 

This is a simple mod that will allow you to show a default avatar for your banned members in postbit. To install the mod, import the Default Ban Avatar.xml file from the Acp-Plugins aand Products and upload the banned.jpg image to your images/avatar folder.

You can enable and disable the mod at Settings-Options-User Banning Options. Where you can also enter the url to whatever image you wish to use a default avatar for your banned members.

Nice idea. Would be great if you built in a graphic processing engine... take their current avatar, make it B&W, then put a red X across it. Now that would be a perfect setup.

You could do that by setting the background of the sell as the avatar, then putting a PNG file of the red X into the sell. You'd have to set the cell/div to the size of your avatars for your site. But probably doable.

Did you enable it after you installed it? What about the image, did you upload it to the avatar''s folder? What theme are you using?

Can we use this mod for vB3.x and if not, will a version for vB3.x be released?

nice...how about creating same like this for in-active members let say starting 1 month or there is a settings of how many months start that the users is counted as in active...then their avatar will auto change with our prefered in active avatar....else if they comeback it will show again their original own avatar....hope this is possible...

Try to remove the following code from the xml file and give it a go. Hopefully it will work on a 3.8 version as well. But test it first at your test forum.

That is an interesting idea, however it exceeds my mods funcionality. This is best to be created as a mod on its own. Try to request it at the Request section and hopefully someone will create it for you.

Do you still think this will work in 3.8? I know I keep asking you for your mods, but you make such good ones ;P.
