How many mods have you written and contributed to this site? None? Nice. Seems like you are getting the help you are asking for here. So, why are you so bent about what version is running here that you feel the need to create a thread about it?

What people care about is functionality; is there anything you would expect to be different about how you interact with others on this site if it was upgraded? Is this version somehow limiting your ability to modify your own site?

No.

Because its much better than 4.0 :P

Also, IB are an example of a company that do not eat their own dog food. Though in all fairness .org has seldom been in sync with current versions of vB which is understandable considering the modifications to it.

A perfect world would be .org AND .com on 3.8.4 and IB being refused ownership of vB. But wheyheyhey. If it was perfect, there would be no need for superheroes like me.

I don't blame them, would have I known I would of been stick to my 3.8 forever.

VB4 is a problem and a frustration from top to bottom.
