Cannot upload / import style xml - Invalid File Specified

I'm running 4.0.1 on a dev forum and I've downloaded my modified default style, so I can upload it to my production site.

When I attempt to upload in Download/Upload styles & I browse for the file, it tells me "Invalid File Specified" when I try to upload.

Both systems are 4.0.1, why would I not be able to import this style?
