Database error = too many emails!
So SOMETIMES we have a problem with a database server or something in between and vBulletin sends off an email about the error. The problem is with the number of users accessing the forums, we are getting literally thousands of vbulletin database error emails.
Is there some way to only send a maximum, or 1 per 10 minutes or something? It is absolutely impossible to deal with an inbox full of all these messages and having them delayed at the mail server, coming in over days. Hope there is a solution! |
One thing you can do is stop emails from being sent altogether by editing the email variable in the config.php file or create a dberrorlog email account and have all emails go there.
What kind of Database errors are you getting? |
