Working with Custom Profile Fields
 

are there any articles on programing and using Custom Profile Fields?

i have a mod that i'm thinking about publishing that uses fieldx. is there anyway to make that part of the install so they don't have to manually create Custom Profile Fields?

That's interesting. My mod uses custom profile fields as well but I have always told the users they have to create their profile fields first. I'll be interested if you find a way to make that part of the program. Good luck.

Theres always a way, you just have to spend time researching how they exist in the tables, and then write appropriate code to create the necessary entries. Digging into the vb code that creates them is usually a good place to start.
