Can't add .png files in signature?!
 

So one of the users tried to add a .png picture of a gamecard that auto-updates. However, he can not put it as a signature, it just shows up with the link.

I then tried to go to the admin panel and add it and same problem.

I am running Version 4.0.1 and the picture i want in the signature is:

have you got, allow bbcode in signatures.

A lot of these signature scripts require bbcode insertion as opposed to html insertion, for obvious security reasons

I also emptied the signature cache via the maintenance option in admin panel and still nothing.

Anything else i can do / try? :confused:

Its not really a solution but you could just open up any editor and try making it a gif or jpg and see if that works so you can use your image but that would only be a short term solution.

Its an option i considered however this is a gamercard the updates automatically and if i was to convert is to something like jpg, would remove the self update functionality.

1st try Disableing hooks in config, and try again.
signatures still show after hooks are disabled.

If that dont work then

submit vbulletin support ticket!

Cant ewen replicate it, tryed on two different boards now
a live and a local host. no luck, well lucky enough it works.
