How to stop people from replying to automated messages?

This is a somewhat small problem, but something that is very irritating and I am sure can be easily fixed. This is regarding PM notifications via email:

DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL!

Dear userA,

You have received a new private message at DirtyImpreza Forums from userB, entitled "Re: blah blah blah

People are replying to the email notifications of there being new PM's in their inbox. I want to make sure that if they reply to these emails it gets bounced back to them. I have a particular email address configured to the sender of these notifications and im constantly getting random replies to the address because its actually a valid address on my domain.

What do i need to change so that the notifications still get delivered via email, but make it so that people can't reply to them?

Use a different email address for your subscription email, your bounced email and your webmaster email. People can always reply to them, but this way it lands in the correct inbox. The email in the subscription email inbox can just be deleted once in a while.

Where do you set the option of what email address the subscription notification uses? I have not been able to find this option... maybe i'm not looking in the right spot?

Fill in bounce email here: admincp -> vbulletin options (settings in vb4) -> Bounce Email Address
Fill in subscription email here: admincp -> vbulletin options (settings in vb4) -> Site name/contact details -> Webmaster's Email
Fill in webmaster email(s) email here: admincp -> vbulletin options (settings in vb4) -> Site name/contact details -> Contact Us Options

Use this format for the contact form:
{administration@yoursite.com} Registration Problem
{administration@yoursite.com} Account problem
{administration@yoursite.com} General site Feedback
{administration@yoursite.com} Link Exchange
{administration@yoursite.com} Broken link report
{administration@yoursite.com} Other

Thanks for the contact form syntax. I didn't know you could use different emails in there per option!

I am running vB3.X

My webmaster email is configured (Vbulletin Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details > Webmasters Email)

But i am still searching for where the "Subscription Email" is setup. This is probably what i am looking for. I want to make this different than what the webmaster's email is set for.

Yes, thats confusing in vbulletin. You can not define your subscription email separate, but there is a workaround. Define your subscription email in:
Vbulletin Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details > Webmasters Email

And use the contact form syntax to let the contact form submissions go to your webmaster email.

The only problem with that is that the 'other' option can not be removed. Some people will still use that. So the best solution I have found is to add a lot of options for people to choose from.

I know this thread is beginning to age, but I have the same problem, and I'm considering replacing that Contact Us page entirely and then putting in a noreply@ email address with autoresponder as the Webmaster Email, but I wanted to make sure:

Is that the only part of vBulletin that directs emails to the Webmaster Email? Or is there some other way (not involving that page) that a user might be directed to send email there (maybe if it's given out somewhere, for example, or maybe a different form elsewhere)?
