Relationship Manager functionality
 

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this discussion, but I'm trying to find a good plugin that will allow me to add some functionality to vB4 that will place more focus on the users and less on the discussions.

I am building an online community where the main focus is on the members sharing personal information and connecting with each other. In that sense is needs to be more of a Relationship Manager than a Discussion Manager. I don't really want to call it a "dating site", but it's closer to that type of functionality.

Users would come to this site to search for other users, rather than searching for discussions. I am very familiar with vB and definitely want to keep it at the core. And with the new vB Suite, users already have blogs, image galleries, and all that great stuff, but I need a plugin that restructure the user profile and allow users to search for other users by state, zip code, interests, etc.

Part of the current functionality of vBulletin allows you to search user profile fields - such as postcode - using the Advanced Members Search feature. (Members List > Search Members > Advanced Search

That's quite well hidden - but you could make the feature more accessible fairly easily by including a link to that feature memberlist.php?do=search on your main nav bar, or just build it into a prettier interface
