Registration Usergroup

Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible to change the registration usergroup to something else?

I have "Registered Users" and "Probation Users". I want it so that if people register from now on they are put in the "Probation users" group. I know there is an option to change "Registered users" usergroup but It'll affect almost all the users who have registered on my board. Some help would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

I don't think it is possible to make this happen. vB is set up to put users in usergroup id 2.
You'd have to rename the usergroup, then move everybody with more than 1 post into a new usergroup called Registered Users.

Hey Speysider,

Thanks, I read around and I saw this mod https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=1546573 but there are a few bugs in it. Would you know how to mass move users from one usergroup to another?

Thank you.

AdminCP -> Users -> Prune / Move Users.

:)

Make a new usergroup from your old one move all users to this grp rename it
Than new members will not be in the same grp no addons needed

Hey,

Some help please.

Has not logged on for x days? What do I put here? To move all members from registered to another =/ ? and Posts is less than?

Speysider 02-04-2010 05:14 PM

Put nothing in the Last Log on date. This is what your fields should have:

Usergroup - Registered Users
Has not logged on for x days - blank
Join Date is Before - blank
Posts is less than - blank
Order By - Username
