RSS Question
Hi,
I finally figured out how to post RSS feeds, my question is I perfer to post the complete article vs displaying the link for someone to click on. Is this possible? If so what would the code be? Thanks --------------- Added [DATE]1265325549[/DATE] at [TIME]1265325549[/TIME] --------------- BUMP! I need to figure out how I can get the complete news article posted vs having someone click the link and leave my sight. I want them to stay on my site. HELP! |
I am unaware of any mod to do this. Probably because of copyright issues.

Videx is right due to copyright laws. The other way to do what you want is look at these things and search them yourself and write up a post.

So how is it different if the news story in only a small paragraph and the first paragraph is posted? If you post the complete article it gives reference to the article.
How exactly does it know to only post the first paragraph and then some? Something must be telling it to grab so many characters. Is this on vbulletin side? If so where? Thanks |
Do you really want someone to grab all your content and post it on their site, with or without a link?
AFAIK, your own outgoing RSS only includes the thread title and a link, no content at all. |
