Will my buttons still be current in V4.0?

Hi,

I have a 3.8.2 version with bespoke buttons (reply etc etc)

If I upgrade to version 4 are there any new buttons that are going to not be covered that didn't already exist in version 3?

Given I want to go to the publisher package it would be fair to assume there will be new buttons on the blogs etc that are a different to the forum templates ones?

Nb: Vbulletin should have lots of button packs that can be "bought" if need be to make these sites of a higher standard, the quill and ink well images look really dated.

vB4 hardly uses any graphics for their buttons. I beleive most of them have been replaced with CSS driven buttons instead.

So while your 3.8 (or any button image) will work, it will take modification to vBulletin itself to place them.

This question should be asked on vBulletin.com as they maintain the package.

Marco,

How about getting some customer friendliness in your responses.

If you don't explain issues such as "The official vBulletin Modifications Site" in a thread that is for vBulletin Pre-Sales Questions

Then you should remove this question area.

Thanks, hopefully they have moderators that actually give a damn about selling and improving their product on the .com extension.

Sorry but i see this different then you it seems.

This site is about modifications to a standard vBulletin installation. Your question however is what has changed in the default package. Questions regarding the standard vBulletin should be addressed on the main company website.

This is also clearly stated in this forums description:

If you have questions regarding non-default functionality of vBulletin prior to the purchase of a license, this is the place to get your answers. Questions regarding default vBulletin functionality or licensing and pricing should be asked on the Official company website: vBulletin Pre-sales Questions
And yes, we could have provided an answer, but that will only be an invitation to others to ask questions regarding standard vBulletin on this site.

Don't blame Marco/The Staff, it isn't their site and they only perform as requested by IB.
