Max number of downloads how

I will like 2 make a restriced numbers of downloads for my user´s and after they reached x number´s. I want them to join a different part of my Community (vips)
Is that possible ? and if what is the name of that hack.

More or less you can do this with Downloads II, and probably other download managers. With Downloads II, anyway, you'd have to set MB limit, rather than number of files.
