No option ti dismiss out of date templates? Whats up with that.
Hello,
I have a mobile skin on my forum with 50 + customized templates. Every time VB upgrades a bunch of templates I get the notice saying they are all out date. The only way to get rid of the notice is to manually enter 48 templates and hit save. It would be great if someone could come up with a way to dismiss this warning because obviously I don't want to change any of the templates on the mobile skin (or outdated skins that I have lying around either). |
You should at least look at the changes that have been made to the default before you hit Save.
|
I know and I usually do for my current templates but I have a tendency to save old styles just in case and don't intend to update them every time.

I think the reason it's left out is because it can be crucial to board operation to make sure that you old templates are compatible with your updated vB board. Even if it turns out you don't need to change much, you could miss one thing that could cause a problem and not know where to track it down.

Its crucial if you use those styles but in the case of mobile templates...you know your not going to update them.
|
Why wouldn't you update your mobile styles? Not doing so can break functionality for mobile users.
