Forum title tag
Is there a way to specify what is put in the forum title tag?
Right now, if I have a forum called "Restaurants", the title tag has just "Restaurants". Is there a way to control what goes in the title tag? In vb3, I recall that the title was followed by the site title? Ideally, I would just like to be able to specify what goes in the title tag for each forum. Is there a way to do this or is there a mod that lets me do this? |
Just modify the template. It sounds like your are just talking about the FORUMDISPLAY template, so you can modify it in there.

Hi Lynne, thank you for the reply.
I guess what i was thinking was more along the lines of being able to define what goes in the title tag similar to articles creation. If I were to edit the forumdisplay template, wouldn't I be restricted to setting a specific text to append to the default title for a particular forum? |
You want to change the <title> tag individually for every forum? By default, it is the forum title. If you need it to be something different, you may need to write a plugin to change it based on the forumid. But, there isn't some separate field to specify the content of the title tag for each forum.
