Questions

Hello everyone, i currently run a small forum with nearly 500 members and i use Joomla for my front page. I have noticed the new suite on here and i may make the switch over. I am worried that my site will have to look completely different and will confuse my users.

Will i still be able to use thge same images on the site & forum and how do you all find Vbulletin?

Hope you can help

Dean

You can style vBulletin to your liking.

And as you are here on vBulletin forum, i don't think you will get an unbiased opinion on vBulletin here.

PS This question would have best been asked on our main company website: www.vbulletin.com.

I have posted on there also and not got much response to be honest. Could i use my current imageset from my forum on the new v bulletin if i decide to?

My site is www.urban-chickens.com

Any advice would be great

Cheers

Dean

You can use any images you want.

just don't want to make it look that different, did you visit my site?

I visited you site and really don't see it as being that different than the vbulletin site. Did you visit the vbulletin site - the Home tab where the CMS is?

Besides the opinion of moderators/ employees of vbulletin.com...

the switch from Joomla to vbulletin (style wise) and even functionality is definitely possible...no matter what style your using. I find it easier applying design techniques to vbulletin than Joomla (of course, I'm still new to Joomla)

Anyways, there are stylers that can design any theme you want on vbulletin. Make the switch, or regret making it a few years down the line. ;)

You can best ask this on our forums once you have purchased a license.
