Server Load Averages
 

So over the last few days I have been noticing what seems to be very high sever load averages listed in the CP.

Currently they are 16.51 12.19 8.32 | 11 Users Online (3 members and 8 guests)

This does not seem right at all. There is next to no one on my site currently and those averages seem very high in my opinion.

I am on a shared server and things have been fine until the last few days where I have noticed the load averages don't dip below 7!

Is it time to find a new host? Any idea's?

Also are the server load averages reporting what my site is using or is this the load for ALL sites who use the shared server that I am on?

I'm wondering if there is some other site that shares the server why my site that is using up lots of the cpu and thus slowing down my site.

That is exactly what is happening.
