How to create a dropdown like Quick Links for Section Sub Menu?
Hi,
May I know how can I create on-click dropdown like Community and Quick Links for Sections displayed in Navbar Sub-Menu? Thanks. |
There is at least one article in the vB4 articles forum on how to add links to the submenu. It's by Allan.

Thanks Lynne, for pointing me to the articles. They are very helpful in creating a dropdown submenu.
I tried creating Allan's article, it works well on my forum. I would like to know how would I be able to implement them on the CMS area as well? For example, if I have something like this on my CMS: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/2802/cmsmenu.gif How should I go about it to create dropdown menu for the "Documentation" Link, such that I can have a dropdown of "Centos", "Ubuntu", "Suse" under the Documentation Link, on the CMS pages? |
I do not think we can add custom submenus to the CMS submenu area yet. Or, at least, I haven't tried it.
OK, I just looked and the template used is vbcms_navbar_link and it in are two template hooks - vbcms_navbar_start and vbcms_navbar_end. So, try using one of those template hooks. |
