Using addon

I installed a new addon for picture resize, after I added it I was getting error mesg on most forums. I went into the plugin manager and removed the old plugins for VB 3.8 and the errors went away but now on the menu bar I get "Home" "Forum" "Blog". If I go to the plugin/hook manager and disable the hooks I get "Home" "Whats New" this is what I want is there a way to delete the "Home" and "Blog" when the hooks are enabled. I have attached some screen shots to help explain what I want.

There are quite a few threads already about how to disable the Blog and Home tab. Please try a search.
