Inline Image Upload when Posting
 

I need a mod that will allow users to place images in their post, the image icon between the mail and the quote icons are ok, I would like when a user clicks on the image icon, instead of just asking for the URL of the image, it would give the option for an instant upload from user's local machine. Bandwidth issues are not a problem for me. I know this can be done........ I have seen a mod that uses image shack and another that uses some other external, but the user still has to paste the image url.... Also I would like the pop up to have some options like resize, I would like all of this right from the popup.... IDEAS, SUGGESTIONS, COMMENTS?:D

Use vBimagehosting. Users can upload images to your server from their reply, can manage their own images, can set images to private or open, and it's inline as far as I know.

Also, it has a full permission manager you can use.

For the resizer, I think you'll need one of the many image resize mods, I don't know if one is available together with an upload mod though.

I would love to have a mod like this!

vBimagehosting seems to have some problems and I don't know if it works for the latest version of VB. It also adds a tab to your navbar instead of giving an easy button in the editor as the OP asked ofr.

Just a simple "Upload Image" in the editor which would insert it into the post using bbcode would be amazing.
