Vbulletin logs all users off at the same time, randomly (as in there is no pattern to when it logs everyone out as far as i can tell). Whats wrong? never had this problem. I just changed servers.

Session timeout expire? Or have you upgraded to the latest 3.8.4 PL2?

Tell all your users to clear there cache, restart browsers and come back to your forum...
should be fine after that.

I have 3.8.4 PL2, and its more like a session expire for everyone at the same time. Why does this happen?

I had this happening on my server after a server move. Turns out mysql was restarting itself. I found out exactly what was up by looking at the mysql error logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host). I just had to tweak a few values in my my.cnf file, restart mysql, and all was well.
