How to split showthread forum to 2 columns

Hi,
I have just installed vb4.0.1:
- The main forum is split by two columns. It is very nice since I can put some advertise banners
- I also would like to split the showthread forum by two columns but I do not know how to do it. Can someone give me advice? (for the momment, the showthread is just one column)
