Site Valutation

Evening folks,

I've had contact from a company regarding sale of my forum, which actually has come at the right time because babies are very financially demanding lol!

The stats:
Threads: 37,252, Posts: 409,025, Members: 11,723
Open since Jan 2006
Three current advertisers
Last week added two new unique designs which I paid to have made
Generally 250 - 300 members visit per day (not guests or bots)

URL via my profile.

Indeed, but wanted to know what an individual looking to buy would say my site is worth. Not some website that cant tell real value.

Post it for sale at a webmaster forum and see what offers you get.

Best place would be vBulletin Setup :D

or Digital Point

Ive done this a few times, but have always had questions in the back of my head about my test site sending subscription emails to my users ...

Is there a way to ensure that a test site created from a real DB stays incommunicado?

i do not think it is really possible to accurately value a website forum as it depends how much scope it has for improvement as well as advertising revenues if any on paper as proof.
But the main thing in my opinion is how much the buyer thinks he or she can improve the forum and what improvements are possible.
