Error for uploads
 

Getting this error when trying to upload files or pic as atachments

File system directory is not writable.

any suggestions would be great.

Make the file system directory writable? That's what it is telling you to do, so why don't you try doing that. I think they need to be chmod 777

One other thing I have found is that regular members can upload but the mods are the one getting this error. this came about after moving to a new server.

Did you check your user group permissions?

Here is what I found. Anyone that was a mod during the move to a new server can not upload. Any body a make a mod now can. I had two mods re register under new names and bumped them to mods. they can upload under the new name but not the old name and both have the same status.
