mod request thread in the mod forum
 
there should be a "mod request" section where non-modders can request what they want. If it's a good suggestion, and enough people "Agree" or add to it (similar to the installed or rating functions of the mod forum), then mod makers will know what the people want, what kind of install base a mod will have if they work on it, and not waste time making things the average forum admin doesn't need/want.

hell...even put a price on the mod. We have the means to pay people to do things, at least in some fashion. That should be part of this place, as well.
