how to upload avatars?
 

I have no idea how to upload avatars. I tried uploading the images via ftp to the avatars folder but the generic avatars says there are 0.

I also am very frustrated with trying to unzip a file of avatars with Vista. It seems impossible as it says the folder already exists and won't allow the file to unzip. Very frustrating with Vista. What is the problem?:confused: When I look in the zip folder before unzipping (because i can't unzip it) it shows two files with white page icons and says 0kb. Why? One says _MacOSX O kb the other says ff avatars 0 kb

The file part sound slike it hasnt downloaded properly.

Anyway, the avatars might be on the server, but vB isn't pointing to them. Go to admincp>avatars>add new avatars and then either decide whether to do them 1 by 1 if you want to rename them or change other settings on them or use multiple upload to just point vB towards your avatar folder and it will use the names they have on your server.
